TROY REFUGE
TROY REFUGE is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Refuge holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Houston and a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Houston Baptist University. Following graduate school, he worked 12 years at ExxonMobil Corporation (XOM) in Houston, Texas, leading global IT project deployments. In his final role with the company’s law department, he developed an affinity for the legal profession and was inclined to attend law school. He completed his legal studies, earning his Juris Doctor degree, from South Texas College of Law, in 3-1/2 years, attending classes part-time in the evenings, while supporting XOM attorneys and the company’s IT eDiscovery needs during the day.
Troy has negotiated commercial & residential real estate purchase, sale and lease deals for clients, as a real estate broker and attorney over the past 20+ years and 10+ years, respectively.
Additionally, as a real estate closing attorney, advisor, and investor, Troy enjoys underwriting deals and helping other investors & users to focus on their key requirements, which ultimately allows principals to consummate deals, in furtherance of their respective financial goals.
Troy’s current and past clients have included lenders, seasoned real estate investors, small business owners, start-ups, and a host of others.
Troy enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Channelle, and participating as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, serving as a member of the Mableton Improvement Coalition’s Zoning Committee and participating in Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
